To say that we are Steppin' Enthusiasts is to say the very least we can say about the enjoyment we get from steppin'. We devote a fair amount of hours during most weeks in pursuit of the "great" dance. You know, the dance where the timing is tight, the turns are dead on, and that vibe between you and your partners creates good times feelings that last through the night. We have travelled up and down the road to most of the East Coasts' Steppin' groups and to the four corners of the world (ok, the last part is an exaggeration) as we have sought to improve our steppin'. We intend to visit as much of the other regions as we can as we take this wild ride to develop that PERFECT dance. So when you see us dance, know that we are fully, no painfully, aware that we have lots more riding to do. But what the hey, this ride's pretty sweet!
We meet some very interesting people in the Steppin' community and want to maintain and nurture these relationships as we work together to grow the Steppin' community. Cool Virginia Steppers is the way we do this. It's a fusion of great ideas into great events where Steppers can come together regularly, exchange ideas, teach new dancing techniques, and just have good times.
So, if we were asked how we grow Steppin', we would say that we use our gifts of understanding and intuiting the comfort and good times needs of others. And, we use our passion for throwing great parties to create moments that people will talk about and share with others. All the chatter will generate more newcomers interested in finding out what the fuss is about. So, the word spreads about Steppin' and about Cool Virginia Steppers. The dance grows and so does Cool Virginia Steppers.
